Here is also a naval place, small shops of handicraft, exhibition of artistworks, Hilmas café and "Arnes sjöbod".

In the beginning of the 40:s there were nearly 20 fishingboats here which were going out with a couple of crews at each boat. Nowadays here is only a few persons who lives here during the whole year. Under the summer here is most tourists and some people who fishes for joy.
If you are going up to Kompassberget you have a wonderful view over the island of Höglosmen and one of the highest situated lighthouses in Sweden, Högbonden, whom you can reach with boat from Bönhamn. The lighthouse is nowadays youth hostel and it´s a very nice place well worth to a visit. In the beginning of the 1900 here was a school since the place was inhabited by 21 persons.
